Intensive arts study programme in Palermo

In early October Viv Lawes, a British art and design historian who teaches in some of London’s premier arts institutions, will be leading an intensive arts study programme in Palermo, Sicily. The course will be presented in English.

The classroom is based within Palazzo Butera overlooking the harbour. Participants will enjoy four days of teaching from 2 – 5 October. Days will comprise a mix of classroom teaching covering topics that relate to the Valsecchi collection and Palermo’s museums, churches and the Norman Palace. Discussion sessions with coffee and cake on the terrace of the palazzo is a daily fixture, included in the price.

The course is excellent for those wanting an intensive learning experience without taking too much time off work, and perfect as part of a longer break in Sicily or mainland Italy.

There are direct flights to Palermo from many European airports. Attendees will need to fly to Palermo on 1 October.

Course fees are €1060/ £925 for the four days of teaching, including entry to the sites on the itinerary.
